If you know me at all, you’ll know that I am not a morning person. Not in any way, shape or form.. So, you can all be very proud of me because I woke up a few minutes early to make my Bountiful Berries Bullet.

Berries are packed with Vitamin C, and have anti-ageing properties – vital for this post-birthday girl.

Here’s my recipe, with inspiration from the Kayla Itsines eating plan..

Bountiful Berries Bullet

1 cup of kale

1 cup of berry mix (I used an even mix of blueberries and raspberries)

100g of Woolworths fat-free strawberry yoghurt (my favourite in the world, after their raspberry flavour)

1 banana

A dash of almond milk, for consistency


I found it quite thick before I added the almond milk. The almond milk gave it a nice nutty flavour, but also helps with weight management and muscle healing as an added bonus.

This is probably the yummiest smoothie I have made so far. It tastes like more.
