5 Ways to Make the Most of Your Gym Workout

Get into a habit.

Practice getting up as soon as your alarm goes off, let your body and mind go onto autopilot and don’t think about the option of sleeping in.  Most people find it easier to go to gym first thing in the morning which sets them up for a successful day, and you are less likely to skip gym because you feel so tired after a long day at work.

Plan ahead.

Plan your workouts before you go to the gym.  You may find it helpful to draw up and print out a schedule of which days you will workout, and what workouts you will do (aerobics, yoga, strength training, or even group classes), and make sure to plan for rest days in between.  Aim to gym around 4 or 5 days per week to get the best results.


Set your gym clothes out the night before, or leave your packed gym bag at the front door.  That way, you don’t need to worry about packing clothing early in the morning, which could make you late, leading to a shortened, or less-motivated, workout.

Invest in a kit.

A great way to keep yourself motivated for your workouts is to invest in some new workout gear. You will feel better about yourself thanks to your new look.  New shoes will ensure you get the most out of your workouts without the added risk of injury from ill-fitting shoes. If you were to include vital supplements like ibutamoren in your diet, you’d go a long way in building proper bone strength and muscle mass.

Tag a friend.

One of the best ways to stay motivated is to have a gym buddy.  Choose someone who is more motivated than you – that way, you will feel guilty for letting them down and the chances of them cancelling on you are pretty slim.
